FAQs

Q: I’ve been interested in being tied up, but don’t know how to tell my partner.  Would this game help?
A: The initial reason for developing the Intimacy game was for this particular reason.  The game provides a structured way to explore bondage, develop trust in each other, and encourage better communication.

Q: I don’t have a dungeon, what can I do?
A: Many people don’t have a dungeon to hand, so the dungeon for the purposes of the game is generally somewhere where either of you can be tied (normally the bed) so that they can sensually caress your body while you are bound.

Q: We’ve been into BDSM for a while, can the game be personalised to include our own things?
A: Within each game pack, are two sheets of blank game cards.  This can be printed with your own information, questions, toys, etc.. and incorporated into the game just like the regular cards.

Q: We’re a straight / hetrosexual / gay / lesbian couple, is the game suitable for us?
A: The wording within the game has been written in gender neutral terms.   There are no gender specific photos within the purchased game (either in the instructions, or as part of the game board, etc.).

Q: I’m a Dom / Domme and don’t ever get tied up…
A: The game is designed so that either player may be the one to win.  Either player may get sent to the dungeon at any time, and either player may loose/win at the end.  It’s a chance for both of you to learn more about the other player in a variety of ways.  If however you’re already completely set in your ‘roles’ and are unwilling to compromise on your Master/Mistress status, even temporarily during the game play, then the Intimacy game is probably not for you.

Q: Can the game be played by more than 2 people at once?
A: Yes.  Although the main market for the game is primarily for just a couple, we do also have great feedback of 3 and more people playing the game at once.  There is a small additional section within the instructions, explaining how to incorporate more than 2 players into the game.  You’ll just need extra game tokens / counters for each additional player, and probably more in the way of toys than is described at the beginning of the game instructions.
